Actors: Mila Kunis, Justin Timberlake, Patricia Clarkson
PlotJamie, a headhunter in New York City, successfully recruits Dylan, an art director from Los Angeles, to take a prominent job at a leading magazine. Both coming out of recent failed relationships, they find themselves bonding over their shared cynicism about romance. Seeing that they have undeniable chemistry and are both uninterested in traditional dating, they agree to start a purely physical relationship, attempting to keep emotions out of it. They believe that by keeping things straightforward and casual, they can avoid the usual complications of dating and heartbreak.
However, as they spend more time together, their arrangement starts to become complicated. Jamie and Dylan begin to realize that their feelings for each other might extend beyond friendship and physical attraction. This leads to mixed emotions and confusion as they struggle to define what they mean to each other. Amidst life's other pressures and their own emotional baggage, they must confront their true feelings and the reality of their unconventional relationship. From this point on, the movie dives deeper into the complexities of balancing friendship, love, and commitment.
