Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance
Director: Mark Neveldine, Brian Taylor
Actors: Nicolas Cage, Ciarán Hinds, Idris Elba
PlotJohnny Blaze, a stunt motorcyclist who made a deal with the devil and became the Ghost Rider, is living in self-imposed exile in Eastern Europe, tormented by his curse and the fear of harming others. As he wrestles with his powers, which transform him into a flaming-skulled vigilante delivering vengeance upon the wicked, Blaze is approached by Moreau, a mysterious monk from a secret sect. Moreau seeks the Ghost Rider's help to protect a young boy named Danny and his mother Nadya from a group led by a man named Ray Carrigan. This group is in the employ of Roarke, a figure with dark dealings with Blaze's past, who has a vested interest in the boy.
Moreau promises Johnny that if he helps protect Danny, the sect will lift his curse and free him from the Ghost Rider's infernal influence. With the aim of saving the boy and himself, Johnny agrees and sets on a dangerous path to find and protect the child. Nadya, possessing a mysterious past intertwined with Roarke, joins Blaze and Moreau as they try to stay one step ahead of Carrigan's relentless pursuit. The battle between supernatural forces ensues, with the fate of the young boy and Johnny's soul balanced precariously in the midst of the conflict. The Ghost Rider must rise again to confront his demons, both internal and threats in the world, while grappling with the possibility of redemption through his daunting mission.
