In Salem, Massachusetts, a radio DJ named Heidi lives a life marked by a troubled past which includes recovering from drug addiction. One day at the station, she receives a mysterious wooden box containing a vinyl record, a "gift from the Lords." The record, when played, triggers flashbacks of Salem's violent history and affects Heidi and other women in the town with strange visions and unsettling feelings.
