The company’s top delivery stork, Junior, is about to be promoted when he accidentally activates the Baby Making Machine, creating an unauthorized baby girl. Junior must deliver this bundle of trouble before his boss, Hunter, finds out. He is helped by Tulip, the only human on Stork Mountain, who was never delivered to her family due to a mishap that led storks to cease delivering babies. They must fix the error by delivering the baby while dealing with their clashing personalities and the nuances of baby care.

Junior and Tulip's journey is fraught with challenges, as they rediscover the true importance of family and the joy that babies bring into the world. Meanwhile, Nate Gardner, a lonely boy desperate for a younger sibling, has sent a letter to the storks, which precipitates the creation of the baby by the machine. His parents, busy with their real estate careers, are oblivious to his longing for a brother or sister.
