A small theater troupe is rehearsing for an upcoming production at an isolated theater. The cast and crew are unaware that an escaped mental patient with a history of violent behavior is hiding within the building. As tensions over budget constraints and artistic differences flair, the killer masks himself as the production's central character, effectively blending in with the cast.
