PlotIn a quiet small town, an elderly man named Milton lives a routine life filled with mundane activities. His days blend into each other, all marked by the familiar settings of his home and local community meetings. One evening, everything changes when a mysterious object crashes in his backyard. Upon closer inspection, Milton realizes that it’s a spacecraft; inside is an extraterrestrial visitor who appears curious but not threatening. Initially bewildered, Milton decides to help this visitor, whom he secretly names Jules, by providing shelter and keeping its presence hidden from the outside world. This odd friendship prompts Milton to revisit the vivid memories of his past and find joy in the present he had long forgotten. He soon confides in two friends, both elderly women from the neighborhood, after they become suspicious of his peculiar behavior.
As the trio grows fond of their alien guest, they grapple with how best to protect and care for it. Their shared secret invigorates their lives, making them look forward to each day with newly-found excitement and purpose. Meanwhile, strange occurrences within town begin to arouse curiosity among wider circles, escalating the sense of urgency for Milton and his friends to find a way to safely assist their new companion. Despite facing misunderstandings and challenges, they band closely together, reevaluating what it means to be connected not just as fellow townsfolk but as humans unified by an extraordinary encounter. Through their unique bond with the visitor, they discover that sometimes the most unexpected connections can lead to extraordinary changes within oneself and their surroundings.

Jules blends life's complexities with mystery, driven by Kingsley's nuanced performance, yet feels slightly insubstantial despite its warm, engaging core.
