PlotIn Los Angeles, a charismatic and slick defense attorney operates out of the back seat of his chauffeured Lincoln Town Car. He specializes in defending small-time criminals but finds himself embroiled in a high-stakes case when he agrees to represent a wealthy real estate agent accused of assaulting a prostitute. The lawyer takes the case, attracted by the big money behind his new client and the challenge of proving his innocence.
As the preparation for the trial unfolds, he starts to piece together the details, while his investigator friend aids in digging deeper into the background of the case. Despite initial confidence in his client's innocence, the lawyer's investigation begins to reveal a much more complex and disturbing reality. His legal and moral boundaries are tested as he navigates through a web of deceit and corruption that puts his career and safety in jeopardy.
