Luke Vaughn, a desperate father, works as a dealer at a casino owned by ruthless gangster Pope. When his daughter falls ill and he can't afford her medical treatment, Vaughn turns to Pope for help but is refused. Pushed to the edge, Vaughn teams up with a volatile colleague, Cox, to rob the casino. The heist goes wrong, and Vaughn and Cox are forced to hijack a city bus to escape.
