PlotCommercial airline pilot Rayford Steele is unexpectedly called in for a flight on his daughter Chloe's birthday, causing tension in his already troubled family. As the flight takes off, Rayford’s wife, Irene, has been trying to share her newfound Christian faith with their reluctant daughter. Soon after takeoff, chaos erupts as passengers mysteriously vanish mid-flight, leaving only their clothes behind. Down on the ground, Chloe faces similar confusion and terror as she witnesses the sudden disappearances and ensuing mayhem.
While trying to maintain control and calm his remaining passengers, Rayford learns from news reports that millions worldwide have vanished simultaneously. As panic spreads through the flight and among those left behind on Earth, it becomes a race against time for Rayford and Chloe to discover the truth behind the disappearances, navigating their own emotional turmoil and the unfolding global chaos.
