I, the Jury
Director: Harry Essex
Actors: Biff Elliot, Preston Foster, Peggie Castle
PlotA tough and tenacious private detective seeks revenge after discovering that his best friend has been brutally murdered. Scarred by his experiences as a World War II veteran, he embarks on a personal quest to find the killer and bring them to justice. His investigation leads him through the underbelly of New York City's crime world, where he encounters a diverse range of characters, from the seedy to the sublime. As he delves deeper, the detective connects the murder to a broader conspiracy that reaches high into the ranks of power.
Navigating a complex web of deceit, the detective confronts both the suspect's alibi and the motivations behind the crime. Along the way, he crosses paths with a seductive femme fatale who complicates his mission with her own mysterious agenda. Battling to overcome physical threats and moral dilemmas, the detective is relentless in his pursuit of the truth. His methods, although sometimes crossing ethical lines, are driven by a deep-seated need for resolution and retribution. As he closes in on the killer, the case challenges his principles and could ultimately force him to confront his own demons.

Thrilled with the 3D Blu-ray release, favoring its quality & extras over 2D 4K. Solid technical merits. Recommended.
