In the midst of a snowy winter, life proceeds as usual for the beloved Peanuts gang. Charlie Brown, the lovable but perpetually luckless protagonist, finds his world turned upside down when a new girl with red hair moves into the neighborhood. Smitten by her at first sight, Charlie Brown embarks on a quest to reinvent himself in the hope of winning her heart. Meanwhile, Snoopy discovers a typewriter and begins composing a fantasy tale where he is a fearless World War I flying ace on a daring mission against his arch-enemy, the Red Baron.
