Jay and Silent Bob Reboot

Director: Kevin Smith
Actors: Joey Lauren Adams, Ben Affleck, Fred Armisen
PlotJay and Silent Bob discover that Hollywood is rebooting the film "Bluntman and Chronic," a superhero movie based on comic book characters they inspired. Upon learning that they no longer hold rights to their own names, the pair decide to travel to Hollywood to stop the reboot from being made. Throughout their journey, they encounter old friends and adversaries, meet new allies, and face a myriad of absurd situations, all while Jay grapples with the newfound responsibility of being a father after discovering he has a teenage daughter named Millennium "Milly" Faulken.
The duo's chaotic road trip features misadventures including run-ins with the law, an activist group led by Milly, and a Comic-Con-style convention where the reboot is set to be unveiled. As they move forward against seemingly insurmountable odds, Jay tries to bond with his newly discovered daughter while Silent Bob remains the silent but supportive sidekick. Together, they aim to save their legacy in the film world, while navigating the hilarious and often meta-references to their past exploits and the broader world of reboots and remakes.
