PlotA young woman, seeking to uncover the mysteries of her past and heritage, travels to a secluded Amish community with a group of friends. Armed with a camera to document their journey, they aim to investigate her origins and make a documentary about it. This quest is driven by her curiosity about her mother, who had grown up in this very community before leaving under mysterious circumstances. The group is initially welcomed into the community, and they begin to explore the seemingly peaceful and simple lifestyle of the Amish.
However, as they delve deeper into the history and practices of the community, strange and frightening events start to unfold around them. What begins as a quest for identity and understanding slowly morphs into a terrifying experience as they uncover dark secrets and witness inexplicable phenomena. The supernatural occurrences seem to be related to the young woman's family and the community's past, challenging their skepticism and forcing them to confront the possibility of the paranormal. As tensions rise and the group's safety becomes increasingly compromised, they must balance their quest for truth with their survival instincts, leading them down a path of discovery, fear, and uncertainty.
