PlotIn Oxnard, California, a close group of friends led by Jesse, a recent high school graduate, experiences a sudden shift in their everyday life when they discover a mysterious bite mark on Jesse's arm following a party. Curiosity piqued by an unexplained event underneath his apartment, where a reputed witch was murdered, Jesse, along with his best friend Hector and cousin Marisol, venture into the confines of a darker world. Their initial excitement at the supernatural phenomena surrounding Jesse soon turns into horror as they begin to understand the grave implications of the mark left on him.
As Jesse's behavior starts becoming increasingly erratic and sinister, the trio digs deeper into a centuries-old curse, linking Jesse's mark to a demonic possession foretold in lore. Ignoring warnings from those versed in the paranormal, they confront the escalating supernatural forces, documenting their experiences in a desperate attempt to find answers. Their investigation leads them into a labyrinth of dark magic, ancient rituals, and a fight for survival, not only for Jesse but for his friends who have unwittingly become involved in a battle against an unseen evil threatening to consume them from within.
