PlotAnnie is stuck in a long-term relationship with Duncan, a man obsessed with Tucker Crowe, a musician who mysteriously disappeared from the spotlight in the '90s. She starts to question her life and relationship, becoming increasingly frustrated by Duncan's fixation on the reclusive rock star. One day, Annie discovers an acoustic demo, "Juliet, Naked," of Tucker Crowe's once-famous album. She posts a negative review on Duncan's fan site, which catches the attention of Crowe himself, leading to an unexpected email correspondence between Annie and Tucker.
As Annie and Tucker's connection deepens through their emails, Duncan grows suspicious and their relationship’s cracks widen. Annie learns more about Tucker’s turbulent past and his life filled with regrets. Their online friendship hints at possibilities of change and newfound paths for both Annie and Tucker. As they continue to correspond, tension builds, forcing Annie to confront the realities of her existence and what she truly wants from life. The narrative explores themes of love, second chances, and the transformative power of unexpected friendships.
