Will Gerard, a high school English teacher in New Orleans, is thrust into a nightmare when his wife, Laura, becomes the victim of a brutal assault. While vigilantly waiting at the hospital, Will is approached by a clandestine man named Simon, who offers an unconventional form of justice.
