In post-Katrina New Orleans, four childhood friends face an uncertain future after their homes and livelihoods are devastated by the hurricane. Blink, an aspiring comic book artist, and his friends Miracle, Andre, and Junior struggle to find legitimate work and financial stability. Desperate and with no other options in sight, the group is lured into a dangerous heist by a local gangster named Cousin Bass. The plan involves robbing a casino, but the heist goes horribly wrong, and the friends find themselves on the run from both the police and mob enforcers.

As they navigate the perilous streets of New Orleans, the group must confront their own moral dilemmas and loyalties.
