In 1970s Los Angeles, grizzled enforcer Jackson Healy and bumbling private investigator Holland March cross paths when they're separately hired to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a young woman named Amelia. Their initial clash gives way to an uneasy partnership when they discover that their cases are connected.
