PlotIn an ambitious bid to get their college show on Broadway, the Muppets head to New York City. Led by Kermit, the group is full of hope and dreams, despite their naive understanding of how the theater industry works. Upon arriving, they quickly discover that the city is far more daunting and competitive than they ever imagined. Undeterred, they begin their quest to find a producer willing to take a chance on their unique, musical act. This pursuit introduces them to a variety of characters and challenges, testing their resolve and friendship.
As the Muppets navigate the complexities of Broadway, they also have to find ways to support themselves financially. This leads to a series of entertaining and sometimes odd jobs across the city, further deepening their bond. Their relentless optimism and creativity shine through, making their journey a heartwarming exploration of ambition and camaraderie. However, as they encounter repeated rejections and the reality of their dreams seems ever more distant, the group begins to feel the strain. The stress threatens to fracture their unity, forcing each Muppet to confront what their aspirations truly mean to them and what they're willing to sacrifice to achieve them.
