In the remote, snow-covered town of Barrow, Alaska, the northernmost settlement in the United States, winter brings an ominous event: a month-long polar night, during which the sun does not rise. As the town settles into darkness, Sheriff Eben Oleson and his estranged wife, Stella, prepare alongside their townsfolk, securing provisions and power sources to endure the month of perpetual night. An eerie quiet descends on the town as the last rays of light retreat below the horizon. However, this year, the darkness brings with it an ancient and malevolent force.

As the endless night ensues, a vicious group of vampires seizes the opportunity to feed without the threat of daylight. Led by a particularly relentless and cruel vampire, the group systematically hunts the isolated townspeople, plunging Barrow into a terrifying struggle for survival. With communication lines cut and escape routes destroyed, the town's inhabitants are forced to make a desperate stand.
