Secret Service Agent Mike Banning is tasked with protecting US President Allan Trumbull. During a routine fishing trip, drones attack the president's detail, leaving Banning as the sole survivor and the president in a coma. With all evidence pointing to him, Banning becomes the FBI's prime suspect in an assassination attempt. Evading his own agency and the FBI, Banning goes on the run to uncover the real perpetrators and clear his name.
