PlotAn Interpol agent, Louis Salinger, and a Manhattan Assistant District Attorney, Eleanor Whitman, are determined to bring to justice one of the world's most powerful banks. Uncovering myriad and complex illegal activities, their investigation points to the bank's involvement in arms trading, money laundering, and destabilization of governments for profit. The bank's unscrupulous dealings have left a trail of dead as they stop at nothing to continue their financial and political dominance. Driven by their quest for truth and justice, Salinger and Whitman travel from Berlin to Milan, New York and Istanbul, facing grave dangers as they dig deeper into the bank's illicit operations.
Their relentless pursuit of evidence against the bank leads them into a high-stakes game of cat and mouse. As they close in, the bank's willingness to use brutal tactics to protect its interests becomes increasingly apparent. Confronted with the pervasive influence of the bank's operations, Salinger and Whitman are forced to navigate a maze of corruption and murder. With each step forward, they find themselves against more formidable adversaries and a conspiracy that reaches far beyond the bank's doors, challenging their every move and threatening their lives. The moral complexities of their fight against corruption push them to their limits, testing their courage, dedication, and their very understanding of justice in the global financial system.
