PlotTami Oldham, a spirited young woman, meets seasoned sailor Richard Sharp in Tahiti. They quickly fall in love and decide to embark on a journey together across the Pacific Ocean to deliver a yacht from Tahiti to San Diego. As they set sail, their love deepens, and they revel in the beauty and adventure of the open sea. However, their idyllic voyage takes a terrifying turn when they sail directly into a powerful hurricane.
Tami is knocked unconscious during the storm, and when she awakens, she finds the boat badly damaged and Richard severely injured. Stranded in the middle of the ocean with limited supplies and no working navigation equipment, Tami must draw on her inner strength and resourcefulness to not only survive but to save herself and her beloved. The film intertwines their struggle for survival with flashbacks of their blossoming romance and shared dreams, illustrating the profound connection that drives Tami to persevere against overwhelming odds.
