PlotA troubled former priest, burdened by guilt over past choices, finds himself in a spiraling crisis of faith and conscience in the secluded rural area where he now resides with his wife. Their lives, still haunted by the grief of losing their only child, are marked by quiet remorse and attempts at redemption through isolation. One evening, a mysterious injured stranger arrives at their doorstep seeking refuge. Despite initial hesitation, they take him in, offering shelter and care. As the stranger recuperates, he starts exhibiting a strange and captivating presence, subtly probing into the couple's deepest fears and regrets.
The tension rises as the visitor's unsettling questions gradually dredge up memories and secrets that the couple had hoped to bury. With every interaction, the stranger's influence grows, challenging the former priest's fragile belief system and forcing him to confront haunting moral dilemmas. The line between salvation and damnation becomes ever more blurred as boundaries are tested in this remote sanctuary. The atmosphere becomes increasingly charged with foreboding, as it becomes clear that the stranger's arrival is not a mere coincidence but an ominous harbinger of inevitable reckoning. Struggling to understand if his visitor is a divine test or something more sinister, the ex-priest must grapple with his inner turmoil to find a path to redemption or destruction.
