Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
Director: Kevin Smith
Actors: Jason Mewes, Kevin Smith, Amy Noble
PlotJay and Silent Bob discover that a film is being made about the comic book characters, Bluntman and Chronic, who are based on them. Outraged that they're not being compensated for the use of their likenesses, they set out on a cross-country journey from New Jersey to Hollywood to stop the movie from being made. Along the way, they encounter an eclectic mix of characters including jewel thieves, a wildlife marshal, and a group of protestors against the film, which adds layers of adventure and humor to their mission.
Their journey is marked by a series of comedic mishaps and misunderstandings that bring to light the duo's enduring friendship and their unwitting ability to cause chaos wherever they go. As they make their way to Hollywood, their resolve is tested by the numerous distractions and temptations they encounter, making their quest not just a mission to reclaim their identities but also a journey of self-discovery.
