Fixed Bayonets!

PlotDuring the Korean War, a platoon of American soldiers is tasked with a critical mission to hold a strategic mountain pass against advancing enemy forces. The platoon is part of a larger regiment that must retreat to regroup, but a small rear guard must stay behind to create the illusion of full troop strength, allowing the rest of the regiment to withdraw safely. Among the soldiers chosen for this dangerous assignment is Corporal Denno, who grapples with self-doubt and the immense pressure of leadership when higher-ranking soldiers are killed or incapacitated.
As the platoon engages in fierce combat, they face harsh weather conditions and dwindling supplies. The psychological strain on the soldiers intensifies, revealing their vulnerabilities and courage. Denno is repeatedly confronted with the need to step up as a leader, despite his fear and reluctance, while also dealing with the camaraderie and conflicts among his fellow soldiers. In a series of strategic maneuvers and desperate defenses, the small group fights to hold their position against overwhelming odds. Their actions become a testament to their resilience and determination in the face of adversity.
