Strange and unexplained events are happening in the small town of San Fernando. Gravediggers encounter mysterious, glowing objects in the sky and then find themselves under attack by recently deceased residents returning from the dead. Amid the mounting chaos, airline pilot Jeff Trent witnesses a bright object in the sky while flying and later confides in his wife, Paula, about the possible extraterrestrial presence. Meanwhile, local authorities, including Inspector Clay and Colonel Edwards, begin investigating these unusual occurrences.

As the investigation continues, it becomes clear that aliens are indeed manipulating the dead, resurrecting them as part of a sinister agenda. The aliens, led by a commander named Eros, intend to halt the human race from creating a doomsday weapon that could potentially destroy the universe. Trying to avert disaster, humans and extraterrestrials clash, leading to a series of confrontations.
