PlotSix characters, including a hustler and estranged daughter, cross paths through their shared love of karaoke. Ricky Dean, a karaoke hustler, meets his estranged daughter Liv when attending a funeral. Perplexed by her sudden appearance, he reluctantly allows her to tag along on his journey to a karaoke competition in Omaha. Along the way, their relationship is tested as Ricky's disinterest in reconnecting is met with Liv's eager attempts to bond and prove herself.
Meanwhile, Todd Woods, a disillusioned salesman, meets Reggie Kane, an ex-convict with a talent for singing. They form an unlikely friendship that takes them across the country in search of a venue where they can showcase their vocal skills. In a parallel storyline, Suzi Loomis, a runaway karaoke singer, finds solace in fellow competitor Billy Hannan. Together, these characters navigate personal struggles and unexpected alliances, all on the road towards the same singing competition that promises to change their lives.
