PlotAllyson is a frazzled mother of three who yearns for a break from her chaotic life. Convinced by her supportive husband, Sean, she arranges a rare evening out with her friends, Izzy and Sondra. Eager for a peaceful and elegant night, they plan an evening at a fancy restaurant. However, from the start, nothing goes as planned: a mix-up with their reservation leaves them without a table, forcing them to improvise. Meanwhile, their husbands, left in charge of the kids, begin to navigate unforeseen parenting mishaps that escalate in unforeseen ways. Amidst the chaos, Allyson's anxiety peaks as she struggles to regain control of the evening.
As the night continues, Allyson and her friends embark on an increasingly absurd adventure filled with unexpected detours, bizarre encounters, and mounting frustration. Along the way, they come to terms with their imperfections and the unrealistic expectations they place on themselves. What started as a quest for a relaxing night out transforms into a series of life lessons and moments of clarity about motherhood, marriage, and friendship.
