Cabin Fever
Director: Eli Roth
Actors: Jordan Ladd, Rider Strong, James DeBello
PlotA group of five college graduates decide to take one last vacation together before fully embracing adulthood. They head to a remote cabin in the woods to celebrate, looking forward to a few days of relaxation, partying, and enjoying each other's company away from the pressures of real life. The cabin, nestled deep in the forest, seems like the perfect getaway spot for the group, offering them the privacy and freedom they crave. They are initially thrilled with their rustic accommodations and the surrounding wilderness, ready to make the most of their time together.
However, their idyllic retreat quickly turns ominous when a sick and visibly distressed hermit approaches them, seeking help for a mysterious skin disease. After the group panics and turns the man away, they find themselves facing the horrifying consequences of their actions. They soon discover that the water they've been drinking and bathing in is contaminated, leading them to become exposed to the same flesh-eating virus that afflicted the hermit. As the infection spreads among them, paranoia and horror take root. Isolated from the outside world, with no immediate help available, they must confront the deadly disease and make unthinkable decisions to survive.
