PlotGranger, a former Special Forces soldier, leads a mundane life as a high school teacher in modern-day Vancouver. His world is upended when he's suddenly attacked in his home by ninjas. Just as he fends them off, he is pulled through a time portal to a medieval kingdom embroiled in chaos and war. In this strange land, Granger discovers he's been summoned as "The Chosen One," prophesied to bring peace to a kingdom on the brink of destruction.
Upon his arrival, Granger is quickly entangled in the kingdom's complex politics and power struggles. The reigning king has been murdered, leaving the kingdom in the hands of a tyrannical sorcerer who thirsts for absolute power. With the help of allies including a seasoned warrior, a fledgling sorceress, and a group of fierce rebels, Granger embarks on a perilous quest. He must navigate through dark forests, ancient ruins, and treacherous battlegrounds to fulfill the ancient prophecy, all while struggling to understand the rules of this new world and find a way back to his own.
