Christine Brown, an ambitious Los Angeles loan officer, is keen to impress her boss and secure a coveted assistant manager position. Her determination is tested when an elderly woman, Mrs. Ganush, begs for an extension on her home loan. Feeling pressured to demonstrate her toughness, Christine denies the extension, unaware that Mrs. Ganush comes from a background steeped in the supernatural.
