Clockstoppers
Director: Jonathan Frakes
Actors: Jesse Bradford, French Stewart, Paula Garcés
PlotA high school student stumbles upon a mysterious watch that holds the power to freeze time. With the press of a button, he enters a world where everything around him stands perfectly still, allowing him to move with superhuman speed. Initially, he uses the watch for personal gain and amusement, playing pranks and wooing his crush, but he soon discovers that the watch has a complex history that puts him in danger. The watch was developed by a secret government research program aimed at creating a new kind of weapon.
As the teenager explores the limits of his new power, he learns he’s not the only one aware of the watch’s capabilities. A sinister group, led by a driven businessman with motives of his own, is on a relentless pursuit to recover the watch and harness its technology. With the help of his scientist father and a new friend, the protagonist must protect the device and delve deeper into its origins. The journey reveals the watch’s true potential and dangers, pushing him to make decisions that blur the lines between right and wrong. Their adventure becomes a race against time, quite literally, as they try to outwit their adversaries and uncover the secrets locked within the watch before it falls into the wrong hands.

Clockstoppers is passable with great VFX; lacks in story, characters, and Blu-ray quality. Decent audio. Nostalgic but forgettable.
