Actors: Christian Slater, Emmanuelle Vaugier, Wes Bentley
PlotA middle school science teacher, Tom Robinson, lives a peaceful life with his beautiful wife, Elizabeth. Their serene existence is shattered when Elizabeth witnesses a brutal murder in the desert, an act committed by a ruthless Las Vegas mobster, Jimmy Dolan. Dolan, who runs an illegal human trafficking operation, sees Elizabeth as a threat to his empire. Despite the couple's attempt to cooperate with the FBI to convict Dolan, Elizabeth becomes a target. Dolan, using his resources and influence, ensures that all traces of his involvement are erased, leaving the legal system powerless to convict him.
Devastated by the loss of his wife and the injustice that allows her killer to walk free, Tom is consumed by the desire for revenge. He abandons his previous life and embarks on a meticulous quest to bring Dolan to justice on his own terms. Tom's plan centers on Dolan's routine drive across the desert in his armored Cadillac, a symbol of his untouchable status. Utilizing his science background and a deep well of ingenuity, Tom devises a cunning and elaborate trap. As he immerses himself deeper into his mission, Tom must wrestle with the moral implications of his actions and the possibility of losing his soul in his quest for vengeance.
