Big Man on Campus
Director: Jeremy Kagan
Actors: Allan Katz, Corey Parker, Cindy Williams
PlotAt a prestigious California university, the campus is abuzz with a peculiar legend: a mysterious figure living in the bell tower. The students and faculty are both intrigued and terrified by the existence of this "monster." The truth is revealed when a psychology professor and his protégé, Alex, discover that the bell tower denizen is actually a hunchbacked man with extraordinary intelligence but stunted social skills. They nickname him "Bob" and decide to help integrate him into society, hoping he might be able to live a normal life.
As Bob begins to explore the world outside his bell tower, he quickly becomes the center of attention. His awkward yet endearing attempts to fit in lead to numerous comedic situations. Bob enrolls in classes and attempts to navigate the social scene, causing a stir wherever he goes. While Alex develops a close bond with Bob, complications arise, challenging their perceptions of friendship, identity, and normalcy. The film balances humor with genuine emotional moments as Bob's journey unfolds.
