Actors: Jesse Eisenberg, Riley Keough, Christophe Zajac-Denek
PlotIn the forests of North America, a family of four Sasquatches live in seclusion, navigating their wild environment with curiosity and primal instincts. Their days are spent foraging for food, grooming each other, and investigating the ever-changing landscape around them. Moving awkwardly yet with an endearing sense of wonder, the family encounters the obstacles and threats of the natural world—dangerous predators, unpredictable weather, and the perpetual search for nourishment. Their tight social bonds are evident as they communicate with simple gestures, grunts, and body language, revealing a touching portrait of familial care and struggle.
As the seasons shift, the Sasquatch family gradually confronts evidence of human encroachment. Unfamiliar objects, sounds, and scents intrude upon their habitat, introducing confusion and fear. The group is persistently forced to adapt as their territory shrinks and resources dwindle. They rely on each other to navigate these increasing challenges, driven both by instinct and their deep connection. Their journey through the changing landscape underscores the tension between survival and vulnerability in a world where their place in nature grows ever more uncertain. Through their daily rituals and increasingly fraught encounters, the intimate dynamics of the family reveal a raw perspective on coexistence and the impact of environmental change.
