The Odd Life of Timothy Green
Director: Peter Hedges
Actors: Jennifer Garner, Joel Edgerton, CJ Adams
PlotA loving couple, Jim and Cindy Green, living in the small town of Stanleyville, struggle with their inability to conceive a child. In a moment of emotional release, they write down all the qualities they dream of in a child, place the notes in a box, and bury it in their garden. That night, during a thunderstorm, a mysterious boy named Timothy suddenly appears in their home, muddy and covered in leaves. Timothy brings with him an air of optimism and joy, meshing seamlessly into Jim and Cindy's lives as well as their tight-knit community. Despite his peculiar origin and the leaves growing on his legs, he quickly becomes an integral part of their family.
As the seasons change, Timothy's unexpected presence begins to deeply impact those around him, including his uncle Bub, his stern grandmother, and a sympathetic local girl named Joni. Each encounter and experience with Timothy reveals emotional truths and teaches valuable lessons to Jim, Cindy, and the townspeople. The Greens strive to protect Timothy's secret while delighting in the fulfillment of their parental dreams. However, as autumn approaches, whispers about Timothy's unusual traits raise questions, leading to an unavoidable revelation that will test their bond and reshape their understanding of love and family.

Home Video Reviews
A wholesome, heartfelt film with an excellent video transfer and DTS-HD Master Audio, but its unapologetic sentiment may not appeal to all viewers.
