PlotA privately funded space mission carrying the world's first hyper-speed spacecraft, the Helios, is launched with high hopes of revolutionizing space travel. The crew, comprised of an astronaut and a brilliant scientist, aims to propel mankind into a new era of exploration. However, soon after launch, an unexpected solar event disrupts the mission and causes a cascade of catastrophic malfunctions aboard the spacecraft.
