High school student Goku receives a mystical Dragonball for his 18th birthday from his grandfather, Grandpa Gohan. Before he can understand its significance, Goku finds himself thrust into a world of ancient enemies and potent magic after his home is attacked by the evil Lord Piccolo, who is seeking to gather all seven Dragonballs to unleash unimaginable power. Following the assault, Goku teams up with martial artist Chi-Chi, inventor Bulma, and the wise Master Roshi, embarking on a perilous quest to acquire the Dragonballs before Piccolo can achieve his devastating goal.
