Super Troopers
Director: Jay Chandrasekhar
Actors: Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, André Vippolis
PlotIn the small town of Spurbury, Vermont, a group of five Vermont state troopers are notorious for their unconventional policing methods and their penchant for playing elaborate pranks, both on unsuspecting motorists and on each other. Stationed near the Canadian border, the troopers, Thorny, Rabbit, Mac, Foster, and Farva, are more interested in having a good time while on duty than in maintaining law and order. Their antics have put them at odds with the local police department, led by Captain O'Hagan, who is under pressure to keep his team in line. Despite their immature behavior, the group is somewhat effective at their jobs, but they face the threat of having their precinct shut down due to budget cuts.
The plot thickens when the troopers stumble upon a murder scene that appears to be linked to a drug smuggling operation. Recognizing this as their chance to prove their worth and save their jobs, the group sets out to solve the case. Their investigation leads them into a series of misadventures as they cross paths with eccentric locals, rival law enforcement, and smuggling rings. The deeper they delve into the case, the more they realize that the situation is far more complicated than they initially thought. Their unconventional methods and penchant for mishaps create as many problems as they solve, setting the stage for a showdown that could either make or break their careers.
