Ti, a poor construction worker, struggles to make ends meet and provide for his young son, Dicky. Despite their impoverished lifestyle, Ti emphasizes the importance of education and honesty to his son. Every day, Dicky faces bullying at the prestigious private school he attends on scholarship due to his worn-out clothes and lack of modern gadgets. Dicky's longing for a popular toy robot becomes the catalyst for change when Ti, unable to afford the toy, finds an unusual, green orb in a junkyard and brings it home as a substitute.
