PlotThe story centers on a green sea turtle named Sammy, who hatches on a beach in California. From the moment he is born, Sammy faces numerous obstacles, and narrowly escapes predators with the help of another young hatchling named Shelly. Separated from Shelly during the chaos, Sammy vows to find her again. While making his way to the ocean, he befriends another turtle hatchling named Ray.
