PlotOdd is a short-order cook in a small town with a unique gift: he can see and communicate with ghosts. When a ghost appears to him, revealing details about their murder, Odd collaborates with the local police chief to seek justice and prevent further crimes. His clairvoyant abilities lead him to "bodachs," sinister specters that appear as omens of violent incidents. Odd meets a stranger he dubs "Fungus Man" and, through his visions, senses an imminent catastrophe that could result in massive casualties.
As Odd delves deeper into the mystery, he uncovers a disturbing conspiracy that threatens his town. He receives help from his girlfriend, Stormy, who believes wholeheartedly in his supernatural abilities. The race against time intensifies as Odd uses his psychic skills to piece together clues and confront the malevolent forces at work. Suspense builds as Odd struggles to avert disaster, with each revelation bringing him closer to understanding the true danger lurking in the shadows.
