PlotFollowing the tragic death of her father Richard in a car accident, India Stoker, a reclusive and introverted teenager, must cope with the overwhelming grief of losing her beloved parent. Her mother, Evelyn, is emotionally unstable and struggles to connect with India, leaving the girl to navigate her sorrow alone. The funeral brings an unexpected visitor into their lives, Uncle Charlie, Richard's charismatic yet mysterious brother, who India never knew existed. Suddenly, Uncle Charlie decides to stay with them indefinitely, claiming to lend support to his family.
Charlie's presence in the household brings about a series of peculiar and unsettling events. Despite his charm and attempts at kindness, there's an enigmatic and possibly dangerous air about him that India finds both intriguing and alarming. As Charlie gets closer to Evelyn, India begins to suspect his motives. She starts to unearth family secrets and the true nature of Charlie's mysterious past. Meanwhile, people around them start to mysteriously disappear, and India is forced to confront the fact that her uncle may have sinister intentions. This realization sets India on a tense and haunting journey to uncover the truth behind Charlie's sudden appearance and his interest in her family.
