PlotRennie Cray embarks on a relentless pursuit across America, fueled by a personal vendetta. Five years prior, his life was shattered when his wife was brutally murdered by a serial killer, who uses his modified 1972 Cadillac Eldorado as a lethal weapon to mow down innocent victims. Cray, driven by revenge and grief, modifies his own car and sets out to track down the killer. His one-man mission of vengeance turns into an obsession, as he dedicates his life to hunting the murderer, who continues to elude capture and torment him with his ongoing spree of hit-and-run killings.
During his cross-country hunt, Cray encounters Molly Poole, a woman miraculously surviving an attack by the same killer. Bonded by their shared trauma and Cray's guilt for not preventing her ordeal, they form an unlikely partnership. Molly’s resilience and determination to reclaim her life from the shadow of fear add a new dimension to Cray’s quest. As they navigate the highways together, they come to understand that their pursuit is not just about revenge but also about finding redemption and a path to heal from their past traumas. However, their journey grows increasingly dangerous as they draw closer to the elusive killer, leading them into a high-stakes game of cat and mouse that tests the limits of their resolve and courage.
