Actors: Jackie Chan, Sammo Kam-Bo Hung, Biao Yuen
PlotA slick city lawyer, working on behalf of a nefarious businessman, is tasked with discrediting a local fishery's claims that the businessman's chemical plant is polluting their water. To gather evidence and resolve the case without court intervention, the lawyer recruits a couple of unconventional allies: a fast-talking playboy with a penchant for bug installation and surveillance, and a bumbling yet well-meaning strongman with ties to the community. Together, they set up a base near the fishery to surveil and undermine the operations of the environmentalists who are adamant about bringing the pollution issue to light.
As the trio delves deeper into their covert assignment, infiltration and espionage lead to a series of comedic and action-packed misadventures. However, throughout their hijinks, the lawyer begins to question the morality of his mission as he witnesses firsthand the effects of the pollution and the sincerity of those he's been sent to discredit. Divided loyalties soon pose a dilemma, forcing him and his companions to reconsider their roles in the businessman's scheme and whether their talents could be better used in defending the wronged fishery workers.
