PlotEx-con Jake Green is a man with a plan, a cunning strategy formulated during his prolonged incarceration that he's eager to execute upon his release. His time in solitary confinement allowed him to obsessively scrutinize the criminal methodologies of two unseen fellow inmates, leading him to develop a skill for strategic thinking and an intricate system of probability and chance. Upon reentering the world, Jake quickly employs his sharp mind and gambling prowess to amass a small fortune. Hungry for revenge against casino boss and notorious gangster Dorothy Macha, the very man he believes is responsible for his imprisonment, Jake now sees a path to settle his grudges. He begins to navigate the treacherous underworld, his wits his primary weapon against the crime lord's expansive empire.
However, Jake's solo vendetta is interrupted when he finds himself caught in an elaborate web spun by two mysterious loan sharks, Avi and Zack. These enigmatic figures offer Jake protection from Macha's grasp, but at a price: Jake must relinquish control and follow their cryptic instructions without question. As he delves deeper into their complex scheme, he encounters a series of mind games and psychological challenges that test his understanding of power, fear, and his own identity. Stakes rise and lines blur, thrusting Jake into a relentless mind trip that threatens to consume him completely as he confronts the demons of his past and the uncertainty of his future.

Can't recommend 'Revolver'; convoluted & lacks heart. Technically sound but not a classic Ritchie film.
