A young girl named Quinn Brenner, grieving over the death of her mother, seeks to contact her late mother's spirit. She approaches Elise Rainier, a gifted psychic, hoping for assistance. However, Elise, who has stepped back from conducting readings due to traumatic events in her past, is initially reluctant. Despite her hesitations, Elise senses a powerful and malevolent entity seeking to harm Quinn and agrees to help her.
