In the late 19th century American West, an aged and weary former gunslinger, who has long since abandoned his life of violence to care for his children on a remote farm, reluctantly takes on one last job after a desperate prostitute offers a bounty. She and her fellow workers seek revenge against two cowboys who brutally disfigured one of their own in the small town of Big Whiskey, Wyoming. The ex-outlaw, in need of money and urged by his old friend and former partner, decides to pick up his guns once more and collect the reward, confronting his past in the process.
