Plot

An ex-police officer turned fugitive escapes from custody and checks into a high-rise hotel in New York City. His subsequent actions attract attention as he steps out onto the ledge of the hotel, threatening to jump, drawing crowds below and a large media presence. The situation intensifies as the NYPD responds, and a specific negotiator is requested by the man on the ledge. She's a psychologist with a troubled past, struggling with her own demons while trying to maintain her composure in the face of an escalating crisis.

As the standoff continues, we learn that the man on the ledge is engaged in a high-stakes game, intent on proving his innocence in a crime he claims he did not commit. While the eyes of the city are fixed upon him, a complex and risky plan unfolds, involving individuals connected to the man’s past. The narrative weaves through deception, trust issues, and reveals layers of motivations driving the characters as they navigate the blurred lines of justice and redemption.
